With the enactment of the 2007 Name Change Act, marriage license issuance and bride or groom last name change declaration is linked. In fact, the groom or the bride may declare a new last name under California law - a privilege, not offered to the groom at marriage license issuance before this year. Take a few minutes to review the included video for details on, just some, of the new marriage license requirements and groom last name change options available in California as of 2009. The video is helpful for the newly engaged California bride and groom or the about to be married Southern California wedding couple. Tips To Finding The Perfect Photographer

http://www.eWed.org

Finding the perfect photographer to capture your most precious moments can be challenging for a bride to be. To help you out, we have prepared a list of questions that you should ask your photographer during your interview.

Will you personally be the photographer for our wedding?

This is very important because you need to know who you will be working directly with on your wedding day. When we meet our clients, they are looking for someone that they can trust and find easy to get along with. Many times, we have the pleasure of photographing their family and friends events to come long after the wedding. Larger photographer companies may have contract photographers on hand and you may not know who will be photographing your wedding day. In any case, make sure that you meet your photographer before booking to make sure your expectations of their skill level and artistic style match your needs.

Are you a full time photographer?

This question is important because you need to know that your business is their top priority. There are many companies who do not do photography full time. As prices in professional photography equipment have dropped down to the consumer level, many people believe that they can be become a professional photographer. I like to remind my clients that a good camera does not make a good photographer anymore than a good pencil makes a good author. You want to hire a professional who has been educated and trained in his field. Running a business is more than a full time job and the photographer you hire should make you their number one priority.

How long have you been a wedding photographer?

You need to hire a photographer who is experienced and trust-worthy. An experienced photographer should have back up cameras, lenses, batteries, flashes and most importantly is to be insured. It is also wise to request recommendations from your photographer to be. In addition, a strong company can show you a portfolio of both their recent and past work. We recommend hiring someone who has shown you several complete wedding albums. In addition, many photography companies now feature blogs in addition to their website to show off their most recent work. This is a fun way to view their style and view current promotions they may be having. You can view our blog at http://www.ewed.org/blog

What kind of wedding coverage do you provide?

Brides! This is one of thee most important questions that you will ask. You need to know that all aspects of your wedding day will be photographed from the time that you are getting ready putting on your dress and veil to the cake cutting and garter toss at the end of the night. This is the only way that you can have a truly complete wedding album. Therefore, it is important that you find a photographer who values you as person more than as a dollar sign. Unfortunately, most photography companies will charge you by the hour. This is an easy way for them to earn extra money by charging you overtime on your wedding day. Do you really want an added expense of several hundred dollars at the end of your wedding night?

When we created our company, we vowed to serve one couple for the entire wedding day with two professional photographers. This has allowed us to work comfortably with our clients to capture their day in a relaxed environment. Our clients appreciate that there are absolutely no overtime fees with any package that they choose so they can save money, reduce stress and be confident that their first family heirloom will be beautiful and complete.
